We begin our excursion heading towards the Isthmus of Corinth, the geographical point where the Peloponnese and mainland Greece nearly touch, separated by the impressive Corinth Canal. We’ll pause on the bridge for photos, with a spectacular view of the narrow, majestic waterway. Then, we continue our journey toward the serene Geraneia Mountains, en route to the Monastery of Saint Patapios, a sacred site nestled in nature, offering panoramic views over the Corinthian Gulf.
The ascent to the monastery follows a short yet spiritually moving trail through a lush pine forest, radiating tranquility and serenity. Though brief, this path instills a deep, contemplative atmosphere, preparing visitors for a meaningful encounter.
