We begin our excursion heading towards the Isthmus of Corinth, the geographical point where the Peloponnese and mainland Greece nearly touch, separated by the impressive Corinth Canal. We’ll pause on the bridge for photos, with a spectacular view of the narrow, majestic waterway. Then, we continue our journey toward the serene Geraneia Mountains, en route to the Monastery of Saint Patapios, a sacred site nestled in nature, offering panoramic views over the Corinthian Gulf.

The ascent to the monastery follows a short yet spiritually moving trail through a lush pine forest, radiating tranquility and serenity. Though brief, this path instills a deep, contemplative atmosphere, preparing visitors for a meaningful encounter. At the top, you’ll have the opportunity to venerate the incorrupt relic of Saint Patapios, preserved in a humble cave chapel that exudes humility and spiritual devotion, a truly miraculous encounter for many.

On our return, we’ll stop for a relaxing coffee or light meal in the charming coastal town of Loutraki. There, overlooking the blue Corinthian waters and savoring delicious flavors reminiscent of a Greek summer, we round off this peaceful and inspirational day perfectly.
